Eastham Valley Railroad - (EVRR)
The Eastham Valley Railroad (EVRR) garden railway is situated in the North West of England in a back garden of a normal semi-detatched house. It is a larger than average garden because the house is situated on the outside of a corner and the garden gets wider as you go away from the house. The railway is in G-scale, 1:20.3 scale representing 3ft 0in gauge US railroading on 45mm gauge track. The line will be over 200 ft long when completed. All the locomotives are steam outline powered by electricity supplied through the rails (except one battery powered loco). All rolling stock is based on US narrow gauge railroading including logging lines with Shay, Climax and Heisler type loco's for logging trains. Work on scenery so far is minimal, only the canyon section has had any scenic work done so far. The stations have not yet been given names so are called Station 1, 2 and 3. The Planned sawmill area has sidings and is used as a freight yard at present. The photographs are in sequence around the line, starting with the oldest section at station 1.
